Practical and thorough
I typically teach using communication-based instruction and don’t do a lot of explicit grammar. But toward the end of middle school, some of my students really want to understand the idea of conjugation and frankly it is helpful preparation to spend a little time on it so that my students are prepared for a more grammar-based style of instruction which many of them will receive in the future. This resource was purchased with that in mind and it is well put together. I find the power point helpful to present material in an organized way that I dont’ have to create myself, and the handouts are helpful depending on how I choose to approach it (and how much time I have left myself before the year ends). I don’t expect mastery but I do find clear presentation with clear directions and “easy to discover” answers helpful as an introduction and this does just that.
