I tend to like all of her stuff, this resource included. I like to cut up the monthly articles with different events from that month, giving students different events to create a jigsaw of sorts where they can read that section/event in a small group then go teach it to another group. It might be neat to find a way to use hexagonal thinking afterward. I’ll give it a go.

Wow!! What a fabulous resource!!
I cannot begin to express how much I love this resource!! It has saved me time and time again when I needed to assess students’ reading and writing, it has served as an early finishers activity, and it is super easy to leave in your sub plans. My students really look forward to the monthly history comprehension I do on the first day of each month. Thanks so much! I will be using this resource for years to come! Gros merci 🙂
